The objectives of this organization are to:

  • Advance pharmacy services and pharmacy unity.
  • Advance the profession’s Code of Professional Ethics.

  • Advance membership and the communication of information to members.
  • Advance the public image of the profession of pharmacy and pharmacists.
  • Advance the profession through organizational functions associated with economics, education, governmental affairs, and professional standards.

  • Conduct organizational activities in advancing public health education and professional roles of pharmacists.

  • Provide services to members of the Association and to pharmacies.

  • Promote the safe, effective, rational and evidence-based use of medications, therapeutic agents and medical devices issued or dispensed by pharmacists for the prevention of illness, treatment of a medical condition or maintenance of health.

  • Provide educational support in preparing pharmacy practitioners.
