January 2013 - Dermatology Update
Who: All pharmacy staff and students from the re invited. This program is accredited only for pharmacist CE credit.
What: We will be reviewing 4 articles exploring the role of the pharmacist in dermatologic conditions.

When: Thursday, January 17th, 1:30-2:30 pm

After attending this program, the participant should be able to:
- Compare the efficacy of sulfamethoxazole/ trimethoprim mono- and combination therapy to standard therapy for the treatment of head lice
- Compare the efficacy of infliximab and methotrexate therapy for the treatment of plaque psoriasis
- Describe the efficacy of ingenol gel for the treatment of actinic keratosis
- Describe the efficacy of topical phenytoin for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers

This first-time offering of the program in its entirety has been approved for 1 hour of live continuing education credit (0.1 CEUs) in states that recognize ACPE approved providers. Statements of Credit will be e-mailed to participants 4 – 6 weeks following the program.
